Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy covers the jellydock.com website. We collect as little as we can: no accounts, no advertising trackers and no cookies of our own. If you send us an inquiry, we use your details only to reply to you.
1. Information we collect
When you browse this website. Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We do not use this to identify you.
When you send a JellyDock Studio inquiry. The form on /studio asks for your name, email address, project type and project description, and optionally your business name, existing website and budget. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in the description.
When you like or dislike an app. Your browser creates a random ID, keeps it in its own storage (localStorage) and sends it with your vote, so each browser counts once and you can change your vote. We store only that random ID and your vote, not your name, email or IP address. Clearing your browser’s site data removes the ID from your browser.
When you send app feedback. The feedback form on each app page asks for the type of feedback and your message, and optionally your email address if you want a reply. If you open it from inside an app, it also sends the app version.
When you email us. We receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
2. How we use information
We use inquiry, feedback and email details only to reply to you, to fix and improve our apps, prepare a quote and, if we work together, to manage the project. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails without your consent.
Inquiries and feedback are delivered to our email inbox. We do not store them in a separate database. We keep them for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep reasonable business records, then delete them.
3. Services that help run this website
- Cloudflare hosts this website, delivers inquiry emails and may run Turnstile, a spam check on the inquiry form. Turnstile may check basic browser and device signals to tell people and bots apart.
- Google Fonts provides the typeface. Your browser loads it from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
- Gmail (Google) is the inbox where inquiries and emails arrive.
These providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies of its own (the random voting ID above stays in your browser’s storage and is not a cookie) and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie for security, for example while running the Turnstile spam check. If we add privacy-friendly visitor statistics in the future, we will update this policy first.
5. Our apps
Each JellyDock app is a separate product. Its own page or in-app notice explains how it handles your data. This policy covers the jellydock.com website and JellyDock Studio inquiries.
6. Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
